Meet Christie Clinic's Leadership Team

Alan Gleghorn
Chief Executive Officer

Alan Gleghorn is a leader in the healthcare management industry, with 30 years of progressive experience including direct patient care, national physician practice management, and senior administration at large healthcare related companies. He is an expert in implementing Lean Healthcare and Process Improvement Cultures and has led health care organizations through financial turnarounds, large building projects, technology system conversions, physician compensation and governance changes.

For 13 years, Alan has led Christie Clinic, one of the largest physician-owned, multi-specialty group medical practices in Illinois. He oversees all Clinic operations, leading a team of 800 in an organization known for full participation, long-term vision, and leadership by example.

Prior to his work with Christie, Alan has served as a nurse’s aide, an Army medic, Associate Administrator of the Wichita Falls Clinic, Administrator of Arlington Medical Associates, and Director of Operations at the Physician Practice Management Company, ProMedCo.

Alan received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a major in economics from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is an active volunteer and has participated in nearly two dozen organized races and marathons. Alan and his wife Lisa have four children. He grew up in Texas.

Kenneth Bilger
Chief Financial Officer

Kenny joined Christie Clinic in June 2008. He is responsible for Christie Clinic’s financial, business, information technology, and facility operations. Kenny is also the Chairman and CEO of Community Partners Health Plans, Inc., a Champaign-based health care services company offering comprehensive PPO network solutions, third-party administration, and general agency services to providers, payors, and employers. Kenny received his MBA from the University of Illinois and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Dr. William Pierce
Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Pierce joined Christie Clinic's Department of Podiatry in 1987. In addition to his practice, he currently serves as the clinic's Chief Medical Officer. In this role, Dr. Pierce participates in recruiting and retaining physicians, mentors physicians and non-physicians, and serves as a goodwill ambassador to the community. He also oversees the Christie Clinic quality program and credentialing of medical providers.
