Christie Clinic will soon be bringing more quiet, comfortable MRI technology to the community through its Life Imaging™ MRI.

Beginning June 9 at the clinic’s Urbana location, new Life Imaging MRI technology will use the Toshiba Vantage 1.5T system to offer the fastest diagnostics in the most comfortable environment—with up to 90% scan noise reduction.

This will help alleviate much of what patients dislike about having an MRI, providing a much softer, wider environment for the test. The system features an ultra-short, ultra-wide-bore system that creates a more open feeling for patients and quickly provides high-quality images.

Life Imaging MRI’s advanced technology helps Christie physicians accurately diagnose and treat a variety of conditions by performing scans of the brain, cardiovascular system, bones, chest, abdomen, and other parts of the body.
