Christie Clinic in Mahomet plans to build a new 8,000 square-foot facility in mid-2008.

"As Mahomet grows, Christie Clinic wants to grow with it," said Alan Gleghorn, Chief Executive Officer of Christie Clinic. "We're examining what the community wants, and more importantly needs, in regard to medical services and technology. Christie Clinic is dedicated to the future of this growing community."

Christie Clinic will expand its Department of Family Practice, however, other services depend largely on what Mahomet needs.

"This is more than a construction project; it's a commitment to the Mahomet community to provide the best health care possible," Gleghorn said.

Currently located next to the Mahomet IGA, Christie Clinic in Mahomet's new offices will be located just east of Mahomet on Route 150. IGA will expand into Christie Clinic's space plus add 10,000 to 12,000 square feet onto the front of the store.   

Christie Clinic has provided health care to the residents of central Illinois for over 75 years. It is the oldest multi-specialty medical group practice in central Illinois.
