CHAMPAIGN, IL—Christie Clinic welcomes Alberto Munoz, M.D., to the Department of Rheumatology. Dr. Munoz has been a rheumatologist in Champaign for 14 years.

As a physician in the Department of Rheumatology, Dr. Munoz diagnoses and treats diseases of the joints, muscles, and bones.

Dr. Munoz received his medical degree from the University of Chile, Santiago. He was then an internal medicine resident at J.J. Aguirre Hospital in Santiago, Chile, and Northwestern University Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Munoz also served fellowships in rheumatology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and Northwestern University Medical School.

He is board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Rheumatology.
