Christie Clinic Makes Donation to Danville Agency
Twenty computers given to the Center for Children’s Services
DANVILLE, IL—Christie Clinic is donating 20 computers to the Center for Children’s Services in Danville.
The Dell AS IS computers, which run on Windows 98 operating systems, have Pentium III processors, 128MB of memory, CD-ROM and floppy disk drives, and 6GB hard drives. Purchased in 2000, the computers were used at Christie Clinic until 2005.
“We hope the Center for Children’s Services can make use of our computers,” said Alan Gleghorn, Christie Clinic’s Chief Executive Officer. “Christie Clinic is happy to support this worthwhile organization.”
The Center for Children’s Services, founded in 1894, originally provided a safe home for the homeless and orphaned. Today, the Center is a welfare, mental health, and early childhood agency committed to caring for children.
