Christie Clinic will open a new satellite clinic in Danville, IL, this summer. Patrick Johnston, MD, a Family Practitioner, will begin seeing patients August 1, 2004.
Christie Clinic is currently recruiting three to five additional Family Practitioners, along with two obstetrics/gynecology and one pulmonary medicine physician to work at this clinic.
“Christie Clinic has been providing healthcare for the region for the past 75 years. We have identified Danville as a medically underserved market and we are excited about filling this need for the Danville community,” said Alan Gleghorn, Chief Executive Officer of Christie Clinic.
Christie Clinic’s permanent location in Danville is yet to be determined. However, it will be temporarily located at Provena United Samaritan’s Sager Campus. Christie Clinic has other satellite clinics in Mahomet and Rantoul and will open a facility in Tuscola later this year.
