On Thursday, November 4, the Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon was presented the Developmental Services Center (DSC) public service award. DSC has been one of the charities of focus for the Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon for the past two years.

“This award is not given on an annual basis, but instead given when a recipient has made a significant impact in the lives of the individuals and families receiving DSC services,” said Janice McAteer, Director of Development for the DSC.

The Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon has donated a total of $25,000 to DSC. The center recognized Christie Clinic administration and marketing team members Alan Gleghorn, Karen Blatzer, Marsha Osterbur, and Danielle LeFaivre; Christie Clinic medical support members Dr. Nathan Walker and Jill Rackow; race co-directors Mike Lindeman and Jan Seeley; and former event owner Mark Knutson.
