Christie Clinic on University welcomes Christina Francis, MD, to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  As a physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Francis offers care and advice for women from puberty through adulthood. She provides physical examinations, breast examinations, and pap smears. She also helps patients with family planning decisions; birth options; and care during pregnancy, childbirth, and menopause.

Dr. Francis received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Ball State University in Muncie, IN and her MD at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN. She completed her residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Francis is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as the Christian Medical and Dental Association. She spent the past two years practicing medicine at a rural hospital in Kenya where she learned how to be resourceful and to care for patients in even the most dire of circumstances.

“I strive to give every patient not only quality but also compassionate care.  I want them to feel safe when they come to see me and confident that they are receiving the best possible care,” Dr. Francis stated. “I would like my patients to feel that they are coming to see not only their physician, but also a trusted friend.”
