Christie Clinic is pleased to announce that five physicians within four different departments were awarded the Guardian Angel Award. They were each given a certificate to recognize the outstanding care provided to patients.

The following five physicians were presented their award at the Christie Clinic Physician Staff meeting on Monday, January 23: Dr. Subbiah Rajaguru and Dr. B. Lakshmi, both from the Department of Cardiology, Dr. Millie Nelson from the Department of OB/GYN, Dr. Charlotte Schuchart from the Department of Internal Medicine, and Dr. Danish Thameem from the Department of Pulmonary Medicine.

The Guardian Angel Program at Provena lets patients and their families show their appreciation for health care employees by making a financial contribution to the hospital in the employee’s name.  These contributions support a number of Provena programs and services.
