Christie in Mahomet Celebrates Grand Opening

On Thursday, June 11, Christie Clinic invites the community to the grand opening of its new Mahomet facility, located at 1001 Commercial Drive. The grand opening event will include giveaways; tours; refreshments; and complimentary blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol screenings. Attendees can also enter to win a Nintendo Wii and sign up for Christie Clinic's exclusive IC-MyHealthRecord®, which gives patients 24/7 access to their medical records.

"It's always exciting to open a new Christie Clinic," said Christie Clinic Chief Executive Officer Alan Gleghorn. "And the new Christie in Mahomet has more to offer the community with Family Medicine and OB/GYN."

On hand to answer questions about women's health (including self breast exams and pap smears) and pregnancy/childbirth will be Cathy Hinton, CNM, a Christie Clinic Certified Nurse Midwife, and Tammy Smith, RN, Administrative Coordinator for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
