Christie Clinic Doctors Named Most Influential by Qforma

On May 14, USA Today unveiled a list of the most influential doctors across the United States. Christie Clinic is pleased to announce that eight of its physicians made the list.

Qforma, a Santa Fe medical information firm, prepared the list. The firm analyzed several criteria on these doctors including publication history, medical partnerships, referral patterns, proximity to other physicians, hospital and academic affiliations, prescribing history, and other data.

Based on the results, Qforma developed a list of approximately 6,000 of the most influential doctors in more than 300 metropolitan cities. These doctors are considered to be leaders in one of four specialties: high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, or asthma. In the Champaign-Urbana area, eight Christie Clinic doctors were selected for the Qforma list. These doctors include:
