Christie Clinic welcomes Dr. Laura L. Edwards, PhD to the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Edwards will see patients at Christie Clinic located at 1801 West Windsor Road in Champaign. The physicians in Christie Clinic’s Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine see patients ranging from birth to 18 years of age for acute care, wellness checks, school physicals and recommended immunizations for all age ranges.
Dr. Edwards earned her MD/PhD from the Medical Scholars Program at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana-Champaign, graduating with honors. She served her Pediatric Residency at Indiana University School of Medicine, Riley Hospital for Children, Methodist, and Eskenazi Hospitals and Clinics in Indianapolis. Her Bachelor of Arts degree was earned from the University of Virginia.
Dr. Edwards is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Public Health Association, American Physician Scientists Association, and the American College of Preventive Medicine.
