"My goal is to try to make your visit at Christie Clinic a positive experience. Coming to the doctor is not an end; it is a beginning to understanding what is going on and to determine the best method to healing. My goal is to make certain I have answered any questions the person has in regards to their breathing or anything else I can help with. This includes any medications they are taking or what advice I can give to help them have an active part in their overall lung health. I am a firm believer in education. The more you know about the diagnosis, the better you will be in trying to take care of what ails you and start to move forward to better days."

  • Why Did you Chose Health Care
    "I started out working at a nursing home when I was 15; I had the role of activities assistant. I truly enjoyed seeing the people smile when we would have coffee time or play bingo. I knew that I wanted to have a role in helping people's lives. Somehow along the journey breathing became my passion, and I am now a respiratory care practitioner with a specialty in lung function testing. I feel good about knowing I am there to help people find a better way to breathe easier."

  • Department of Pulmonary Function Lab
    In the Pulmonary Function Lab, Terra provides complete pulmonary function studies, which include pre- and post-bronchodilator studies, lung volumes, resistance to airways, and diffusion capacity. She also assists in bronchial challenge studies and asthma stimulation testing.

    Terra enjoys being with her friends and family. She also enjoys being outside on a beautiful spring or fall day.
