  "Growing up I decided that I wanted to make a difference in the world. In college I worked at a hospital and got to see firsthand how compassionate these health care providers were and that they truly made a difference in a patient’s life on a daily basis."

  In the Department of Podiatry, Dr. Eickmeier diagnoses, treats, and helps prevent diseases and disorders affecting the feet and ankles of adults and children. She also specializes in reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, diabetic foot care, and sports medicine.

• Personal
  Dr. Eickmeier was born and raised in central Illinois and is glad to be back home. She is a local girl who never even left Illinois until she was in medical school. In her spare time, she likes to read and travel. Her husband, Kerry, and her two children, Kassandra and Kolten, are currently learning the game of golf.
