• Why I chose midwifery
  "Helping a woman and her support person have a safe and satisfying birth experience is my passion. Being present at the beginning of a new life is a joy and an honor to me. My second child was delivered by a certified nurse midwife. It was a difficult pregnancy and she was very supportive to me and my family. I still appreciate the special attention she provided. This experience is what inspired me to pursue midwifery."

• Department of OB/GYN
  As a certified nurse midwife in Christie Clinic’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Deb provides women primary care, including preventive care, pregnancy, and delivery. Her primary focuses are providing antenatal and postpartum care and labor and delivery support. She also works in collaboration with department physicians, treats minor illnesses, and performs routine gynecological exams.

  Deb enjoys reading, needlecrafts, and spending time with her husband, Pete, and her children, Ashley, Kelsey, Jesse, and Lacey.
