    As a member of Christie Clinic’s Department of Neurology, Dr. Helfrich specializes in diagnosis and treatment of disorders and diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system, strokes, severe headaches, back problems, and seizures. Dr. Helfrich has also been a clinical instructor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Urbana-Champaign since 1976.
