• Why I Chose Nursing
  "As a young girl growing up in Suffolk, England, I would watch my mother put on her nursing uniform each day as she prepared for work. My mom would talk about her work in a loving, caring way and she always expressed how she enjoyed her profession. The fulfillment she received from her work inspired me to enter the health care field."

• Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
  As a certified nurse midwife in Christie Clinic’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Cathy provides women primary care, including preventive care, pregnancy, and delivery. Her primary focuses are providing antenatal and postpartum care and labor and delivery support. She also works in collaboration with department physicians, treats minor illnesses, and performs routine gynecological exams.

• Personal
  Cathy originates from Suffolk, England. She met her husband, Gary, while he was serving in the United States Air Force in Great Britain. Together, they reside in Champaign with their three children, Michael, Hayden, and Rylee. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
