Laura Schwenker, AuD
Now accepting new patients
"When talking with patients, I try to understand their needs and situations, so I can better help them select a solution to their hearing problems. If it’s a medical issue, I want to help them and their doctor find the cause so it can hopefully be treated."
Doctor of Audiology from University of Florida, Gainesville; MS from University of Arizona, Tucson; BS from University of Arizona, Tucson
Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA)

Why I Chose Audiology
"I have always had a keen interest in the medical field. I looked into physical therapy and nursing before deciding on audiology. I love that I get to work with people of all ages, from newborns and their families to those over 100. I learn something from each of them."
Department of Audiology
As an audiologist, Laura Hurst provides diagnostic audiologic testing, vestibular testing and rehabilitation, and hearing aid recommendation and fitting for patients of all ages.
“When not working, I might be found walking trails, bike riding or helping out behind the scenes with CU Theatre Company.”
