  • Why I Chose Health Care
    "I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in medicine, but I also wanted to stay involved with sports, so sports medicine was a logical choice. I have enjoyed it ever since."

  • Department of Physical Therapy
    In the Department of Physical Therapy/Sports Medicine, Richard prevents, examines, and treats athletes’ injuries. He also works with other Christie Clinic providers to allocate physical therapy for athletes who are recovering from injuries.

  • Personal
    Richard likes all sports and is a big Illini fan. In his free time, he enjoys golfing.
