  “I wanted to be a nurse since childhood. I became a nurse practitioner to better serve the patients and make more of an impact on their total health.”

  In the Department of Cardiology, Cheryl works in collaboration with physicians to evaluate and treat patients with heart disease and those at high risk for cardiovascular disease. She coordinates the Caring for Your Heart Program, a personalized program for total heart health.

  Cheryl and her husband, Dennie, have three children: Doug, Mellisa, and Scott. She enjoys gardening, traveling, exercising, and being with her family.
