• Why I Became a Physician Assistant
  "I decided to join the Army after high school. I remember sitting with the recruiter going through all the jobs that I could choose from. I saw combat medic on the list and figured that might be a skill I could use after I fulfilled my commitment. I had never been interested in the medical field prior to that. I just thought it was better than tank mechanic. Once I started training as a medic I knew I had made the right choice."

• Department of Gastroenterology
  As a physician assistant in Christie Clinic’s Department of Gastroenterology, Charles works in collaboration with our gastroenterology physicians to treat non-surgical illnesses of adults and diagnoses and treats disorders of the stomach, liver, gallbladder, and digestive tract.

• Personal
  Charles is married to his wonderful wife, Dawn. They have four great children: three boys and one girl. A lot of their time is spent with the kids and their activities, but when they have free time, they love to fish and go camping. He is also a die hard Chicago Bears fan.
