  • Why I Chose Health Care
    "I became interested in becoming a physician at a young age as I was always fascinated with the human body and really enjoyed biology, health, and other sciences in school. My father died from lung cancer when I was an 18-year-old freshman in college. This experience had a tremendous influence on me, and I made a firm commitment to be a physician."

  • Department of Pediatrics
    As a physician in Christie’s Department of Pediatrics, Dr. Schuster specializes in behavior disorders and learning disabilities, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and autistic spectrum disorder.

  • Personal
    Dr. Schuster has a unique understanding of children with special needs as a parent of one himself. Also, Dr. Schuster and his wife are avid fans of Michigan State athletics. Despite the travel involved, they have a great time spending much of their free time following most of the Spartan football and basketball games to support the Green and White.
