  Dr. Snowden and his wife, who is a nurse anesthetist, have a son, daughter, and 2 grandsons. Their daughter is an RN. Dr. Snowden and his wife enjoy scuba diving on their travels.

  "My interest in hospital medicine was a key factor in my initial decision to specialize in internal medicine. The role of an internist has traditionally been part office based and part hospital based. So, this role is very familiar to me after more than 25 years of practice."
