• Why I Love My Job
  "I enjoy offering primary care services and specialty services to women of all ages. I am fortunate that in my line of work, I can help women from puberty through menopause. My favorite aspect of my job is supporting patients through their pregnancies because it is such a wondrous and exciting time for them."

• Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
  In the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Young specializes in general OB/GYN services including adolescent gynecology and management of abnormal pap smears. Her interest in minimally invasive gynecology includes DaVinci Robotic Surgery, laparoscopic hysterectomies, and the in-office sterilization procedure, Essure. She also has special interests in high-risk obstetrics, diabetes during pregnancy, and multiple gestation pregnancies.

  Dr. Young grew up just outside Monticello, Illinois. She and her husband, Brad, returned to the area in 2007. They are happy to be raising their two daughters and one son in the Champaign-Urbana community.
