    “My interest in orthopaedics, and sports medicine in particular, began early in life and developed out of personal adversities as a result of two sports injuries: a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament and a ruptured pectoralis major tendon. Out of admiration of the skills of the surgeons who helped to restore my functionalities grew my own calling to the discipline.”
