• Why I Chose Respiratory Therapy
  "I had always wanted to do something in the medical field where I could help people. My grandpa had a lot of breathing problems, and I was always around when my mom was taking care of him. When I saw the respiratory therapy program, I thought, 'What a great way to really understand what he was going through.' Also I could help people feel better who were going through the same thing that he went through for so many years."

• Department of Pulmonary Function Lab
  In the Pulmonary Function Lab, Michele provides complete pulmonary function studies, which include pre- and post-bronchodilator studies, lung volumes, resistance to airways, and diffusion capacity. She also assists in bronchial challenge studies and asthma stimulation testing.

• Personal
  Michele enjoys spending time with her family. She is married and has two children, so most of her time is given to them, but she also enjoys playing golf when time allows.
