Clinical Research
The Department of Clinical Research conducts phase II-IV clinical trials to evaluate the safety, effectiveness, and optimum dosage of pharmaceutical drugs for patients with specific medical conditions. Our patients receive free medical care, lab testing, X-rays, and medication throughout each study. This practice allows Christie to take an active role in the development of new medications.
Several Christie physicians perform trials for different disease processes, including, but not limited to, hypertension, diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, arthritis, migraines, bronchitis, and otitis media. Our trained clinical research coordinators are readily available to assist patients through the complete study process.
