Physicians in Christie's Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine see patients ranging from infants to young adults. The nursing staff in this department is available during regular hours to answer new parents' questions about the health and proper care of their newborns. Nurses also help parents determine whether an appointment with a pediatrician is needed.

Parents bring their children here for their first shots as infants, for school physicals and hearing tests, and periodically for regular health check-ups as they grow older. The Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine staff is committed to promoting healthy childhood development through preventive medicine and wellness care.
