The physicians in the Department of Physical Medicine and Pain Medicine evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute, painful muscle, joint, spine, and nerve disorders. Conservative, non-surgical care is emphasized for injuries that result during work, sports, and daily activities and for non-injury pain conditions such as arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, and back pain.
