I strive to serve patients as to think of patients as I have to take care of family members the best we can, and putting best possible efforts forward to make difference in their quality of life and for the community at large scale.

I would like my patient under my care to feel like they are being well taken care of in the best possible way and under available resources, they deserve to know all available options with alternatives, at the same time treated in respectful and professional way, strengthening physician patient relationship.

Why did you decide to become a medical provider? Was there someone or something that inspired you?

While growing up, my inspiration came from my niece named Sunaina, she was suffering from major blood disorder thalassemia requiring her blood transfusion every 20 days staring age 6 months, seeing family member suffering from such pain and knowing that community suffers from major illnesses inspired me to pursue carrier in medicine to help community live better quality of life and make a difference in healthcare.

What challenges (if any) did you face on your journey to become a medical provider?

Major challenges were coming into career with extreme responsibilities and demands of high expectations, but equally rewarding experience especially when it comes making difference in someone"s quality of life.

What sets you apart from other medical providers?

I believe in team work, we work as part of team playing individual role in best possible way to improve quality of life and survival for patients. Serve community at larger scale and making difference in healthcare.

What do you want patients to know about you? What activities or hobbies do you enjoy when you’re not at work? Would you like to include information about how many people are in your family and first names?

We are family of 3, my wife Sonia and my 8 months old son Hridan, while moving in new place, we are looking forward to be part of community here at Champaign Urbana and want to feel like new home. And are very positive about it.

I enjoy long walks, listen to music, watch movies with family and friends, yoga when possible, watch and play cricket game. Talk to family and friends as much as possible.
