• My Interest in Minimally Invasive Surgery
  “This specialty affords me the opportunity to help patients through surgery. In residency I quickly became interested in laparoscopy, and as a senior resident I received the award for ‘Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures’ in laparoscopic surgery. I continue to have a special interest in minimally invasive surgery such as laparoscopy and DaVinci robotic surgery, which affords my patients both a much shorter hospital stay and recovery time in the event surgery should become required.”
