Barefoot Medical Spa located within Christie Clinic’s Foot and Ankle Surgery Department is pleased to welcome Sharon Duncan to the team.
Services will be performed by Sharon Duncan, Nail Technician. Sharon has had extensive training in spa services related to the feet, and is able to recognize potential nail and skin concerns that may require a visit with a Foot and Ankle surgeon.
Available services include waterless medical grade pedicures, callus reduction, cuticle care, nail shaping and trimming, and polish application. All services are performed with autoclaved or disposable tools to ensure no transmission of bacteria occurs.
Department of Foot and Ankle Surgery physician, Dr. Andrew Kluesner says, “Over the years I have been asked by patients where to go to get a pedicure that is safe. To address this need our department is pleased to introduce the Christie Clinic Barefoot Medical Spa to our patients and the community. We practice the same sterilization techniques that we use for surgical procedures, and our priority is to maintain a clean, private environment, and prevent the spread of germs, fungus and diseases.”
