Katie Palmer and Dachia Robinson, both from the Department of Pharmaceutical Services at Christie Clinic on University passed the Certified Pharmacy Technician National Board Exam in July. Katie has been a Christie Clinic team member since 2007. Dachia has been a Christie Clinic Team member since 2012.
The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board was established as a national certification program to create a uniform standard for pharmacy technician certification. It is one of the most respected establishments in the field of pharmacology. The board develops, administers and maintains an accredited national program to provide certification and recertification for pharmacy technicians in all types of practices. The goal with establishing the board was to create a national standard in order to promote patient safety.
