Why I Chose Health Care

I have been working with children since my early teens when I began volunteering at the local YMCA. I assisted in swimming programs for both typical children and children with disabilities. Joseph Baublis, MD, a pediatrician, was chairman of the swim team board and convinced me to apply to medical school and was later my mentor as a resident.

Department of Pediatrics

In the Department of Pediatrics, Dr. Keeley evaluates and treats children with a variety of developmental problems including ADHD, autistic spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and cognitive disorders. He is one of only four pediatricians in Illinois board certified in neurodevelopmental pediatrics.
