CHAMPAIGN, IL—Christie Clinic welcomes Kaushik Patel, MD, to the Department of Pulmonary Medicine at Christie Clinic at Provena Covenant and Christie in Mattoon.

In the Department of Pulmonary Medicine, Dr. Patel cares for patients suffering from diseases of the lungs and respiratory system.

Dr. Patel obtained his General Certificate of Education from the University of London, England. He earned a medical degree from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. He also fulfilled an internal medicine residency at the Bronx V.A. Medical Center through Mt. Sinai Hospital School of Medicine, New York, NY. He completed a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at the U. Conn Health Center, Farmington, CT.
