Christie Clinic welcomes Catherine (Katie) Wrigley, MB BCh BAO to the department of Rheumatology at 1801 West Windsor Road in Champaign. Dr. Wrigley treats musculoskeletal disease and systemic autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus and other inflammatory conditions.
Originally from Cincinnati, Dr. Wrigley’s family moved to Ireland as a child. She attended the University College Dublin Medical School in Ireland and moved to Australia to experience a different healthcare system. She returned to Cincinnati for her residency and fellowship in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Ohio.
She is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology and a member of the American Medical Association and American College of Rheumatology.
