Candace D. McGregor, M.D., was elected Trustee-at-Large of the Illinois State Medical Society (ISMS) at its recent annual meeting.
Dr. McGregor is the Chief Medical Officer at Christie Clinic in Champaign-Urbana. She also serves as an Associate Medical Director at Carle. Past leadership roles include the Christie Clinic Board of Directors and the Board of Directors for the Christie Foundation, the philanthropy arm of Christie Clinic.
A member of ISMS since 2010, Dr. McGregor is currently serving on the ISMS Governmental Affairs Council.
She earned her medical degree at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed her residency at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. She is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist.
Dr. McGregor’s term as ISMS Trustee-at-Large will run through April 2026.
