Christie Clinic Participating in National Pink Glove Dance Contest

October 12, 2012

According to the National Cancer Institute, one out of eight women born today in the United States will develop breast cancer during their lives. This month, Christie Clinic is wearing pink gloves of hope as a sign of the ongoing fight against cancer.

Christie Clinic produced and entered a video in the Pink Glove Dance Video contest to help raise awareness for breast cancer prevention. What started out as a small group wanting to come together as a team to create a video erupted into much more – an excited community of 242 Christie Clinic Team Members from 27 different departments across several locations in East Central, IL. In order for Christie Clinic’s vision – to create a healthy community – to become a reality, our organization feels compelled to educate and inform those in our lives of the necessary steps to make healthy choices and be our best selves.

Voting for the Pink Glove Dance will take place from October 12-26. The first place winner of the contest will receive $10,000 to donate to a charity that supports breast cancer research. Christie Clinic has chosen Susan G. Komen For the Cure.

To vote for Christie Clinic, visit from October 12-26.
