"Growing up in a single-parent home, I was concerned with having the funds for college and medical school. Why I Chose Health Care
I have always wanted to be a physician—since the second grade. My interest in the inner workings of the body was my motivation. I was very inquisitive and wanted to know how things worked and why they worked the way they did.
