In the Department of Dermatology, Sarah diagnoses and treats skin diseases. She performs physical examinations, prescribes treatments, interprets laboratory tests, and performs skin biopsies and surgery.
I’ve had an interest in medicine since I was young. I began working in a skilled nursing facility in high school and learned I can make a positive impact on people’s lives. I have worked in multiple areas of health care on my path to becoming a Physician Assistant. Being a PA gives me the opportunity to make a larger impact on my patients’ well being. I’ve been with Christie Clinic since 2008 and enjoy the sense of community that comes from getting to know my patients and their families.
Outside of work, I enjoy bike riding, canoeing, and camping with my husband and two sons. I have also participated in the Christie Clinic Illinois 1/2 marathon multiple years.

I want my patients to be involved in their health care. I focus on patient education and providing them with the tools necessary to better their health. I want my patients to feel comfortable asking questions and discussing their health with me.
