Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics and General Pediatrics
In the Department of Pediatrics, Dr. Keeley evaluates and treats children with a variety of developmental problems including ADHD, autistic spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and cognitive disorders. He is one of only four pediatricians in Illinois board certified in neurodevelopmental pediatrics.
I have been working with children since my early teens when I began volunteering at the local YMCA. I assisted in swimming programs for both typical children and child with disabilities. Joseph Baublis, MD, a pediatrician was a chairman of the swim team board and convinced me to apply to medical school and was later my mentor as a resident.

In pediatrics, my goal is to be the parents’ partner in caring for their children’s health and development. Parenting children should be fun. If we are not having fun, then we need to rethink what we are doing.
