Why I Chose Health Care

As a young girl growing up in Suffolk, England, I would watch my mother put on her nursing uniform each day as she prepared for work. My mom would talk about her work in a loving, caring way and she always enjoyed her profession. The fulfillment she received from her work inspired me to enter the healthcare field.

I am from Suffolk, England. I met my husband, Gary, while he was serving in the United States Air Force in Great Britain. Together, we reside in Champaign with our three children, Michael, Hayden, and Rylee. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.

My goal is to make every patient feel important. I specialize in labor and delivery, sometimes never leaving the patient during the labor process. I am trained to recognize signs and symptoms that are not consistent with the normal birthing process. I am qualified to administer drugs and to perform medical procedures. I also provide family planning, birth control counseling, and normal gynecological services such as physical exams, pap smears, and preventative health screening.
