In the Christie Clinic Vein & Vascular Center, Dr. Tzavellas provides comprehensive vascular services for all vascular disorders including peripheral vascular disease, aneurysms, stroke, varicose veins, dialysis access, poor circulation and other diagnoses related to the arteries and veins.

Why I Chose Health Care

I was inspired to pursue a career in healthcare because of my deep-seated desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives. I am motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of others, and the constantly evolving nature of the healthcare field excites me. Ultimately, the prospect of being part of a profession that allows me to promote health and healing is what led me to choose a career in healthcare.

I chose vascular surgery because of my fascination with the complex nature of the vascular system. The ability to diagnose and treat conditions related to blood vessels, such as arterial and venous diseases, provides a unique and challenging aspect to the medical field that I find intellectually stimulating. Moreover, the opportunity to make a difference in patients’ lives by improving blood circulation and preventing complications has been a driving force behind my decision.
