Christie Clinic welcomes Dr. Swathi Chalasani to the Department of Rheumatology at Christie Clinic on Windsor at 1801 West Windsor Road. Dr. Chalasani treats musculoskeletal disease and systemic autoimmune conditions affecting the joints, muscles and bones. She specializes in diagnosing and treating autoimmune and soft tissue joint disorders, vasculitis and connective tissues.
Dr. Chalasani graduated from Alluri Sitarama Raju Academy of Medical Sciences, Eluru, India and completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Illinois, Urbana, IL. She went on to complete her Rheumatology fellowship at the Center of Excellence for Arthritis and Rheumatology at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, LA. Dr. Chalasani is a member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Rheumatology, Indian Medical Association (India) and Andhra Pradesh Medical Council (India).
