Patient Portal Auto Activation


Beginning in early December 2021, patients (18 years and up) who are not portal enabled who have visited Christie Clinic in the past 6 months will receive an email from announcing our new Patient Portal Auto Activation initiative. This will be a co-branded email from Christie Clinic and Carle. Patients will have access to their Christie Clinic providers, Carle providers and Carle Foundation Hospital visit summaries from one patient portal.

What is Auto Activation and How Does It Work?

Auto Activation will send patients who are not portal enabled a patient portal activation link allowing them to quickly and easily sign up for a patient portal account.

This link will be sent to a patient via email after an appointment is scheduled by a Christie Clinic team member on the patient’s behalf. Appointments scheduled by the patient online will not trigger the email.
