Christie Clinic Department of Pulmonary Medicine is expanding its reach to Bloomington-Normal. Dr. Hamid Yaqoob will begin seeing patients at Christie Clinic in Bloomington on Empire on September 23. Dr. Yaqoob specializes in the treatment of patients suffering from diseases of the lungs and respiratory system.
Dr. Yaqoob attended Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. He did his residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC before going on to complete his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. He was actively involved in the research during his training and was awarded with the Dr. George P. Maguire Research Award.
