We are proud to announce Monica S. as the recipient of our first-ever Volunteer of the Year Award!
This year, Monica personally logged an impressive 156 hours on our volunteer leaderboard, but those hours only tell part of the story.
Monica has dedicated her time and talents to organizations throughout our community, including The Crisis Nursery, Women’s Business Council, Champaign-Urbana Theatre Company, Junior League of Champaign-Urbana, The She Said Project, United Way and Eastern Illinois Foodbank.
Those 156 hours represent so much more than time on a leaderboard. They represent people helped, organizations strengthened, opportunities created and a community made better through a genuine commitment to service.
We are incredibly grateful for Monica’s dedication, generosity and willingness to give her time wherever it is needed. Congratulations, Monica, on being our Volunteer of the Year!
