Christie Clinic is pleased to welcome Nicole Almeida, APRN, FNP-C, BC-ADM, to the Department of Endocrinology.
Nicole is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with nine years of experience in endocrinology. She provides care for patients with a variety of endocrine conditions, including type 1 and type 2 diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, high cholesterol and disorders of the pituitary and adrenal glands. She also has extensive experience helping patients begin and manage insulin pump and continuous glucose monitoring technologies.
Nicole earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Illinois State University in Normal and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, summa cum laude, from Bradley University in Peoria. In addition to being certified as a family nurse practitioner, she is board-certified in advanced diabetes management.
