Seeing the ways in which my family members were able to provide selfless service through their education and training motivated me to select healthcare as my career path so that I would also be able to use my skills both to help those in need.
Outside of the clinic I can usually be found spending time with family, reading, hiking and doing some sort of outdoor activity.

My NP training is primarily in family medicine. However, during my clinical experiences I had the opportunity to care for some patients that presented with basic GI related issues. As I cared for these patients, I became more interested in learning about digestive health, patient education surrounding healthy dietary practices for various GI conditions, as well as the latest guidelines on recommended pharmacological treatments for conditions such as IBD.
