In the Department of Pulmonary Medicine, Amber provides complete pulmonary function studies, including pre-and post-bronchodilator studies, lung volumes, resistance to airways and diffusion capacity.
I always knew I wanted to help people, but nursing didn't seem fitting for me. I studied some other areas first, then decided to use a childhood memory and found the RT Program at Parkland. I immediately fell in love with my choice and still to this day love what I do.
I love to travel, eat and be with my family and dogs!

My brother was very sick with pneumonia when we were younger. I remember seeing him on a ventilator and chest x-ray the pulmonologist showed us. I remember the RTs working with him and how they stood out and made such a difference.
